An absolutely HUGE well done to our track star Alexandra Bell who competed in the 800m at the Sainsbury’s British Athletics Championships held at Birmingham Alexander Stadium over the weekend.
Not only did she get through all the qualifying heats but came a very respectable 4th in the final, with an impressive dip for the line putting her just ahead of Jenny Meadows.

It was fantastic watching this live on the telly and cheering along. We wish Alex every success for the rest of the athletics season, and of course look forward to seeing her churning up the mud and defending her Yorkshire Champion title when X Country starts!
