All this talk of bogs, compasses and tussocks needs a counter point, so how about a brief insight into the world of track racing.
One of our younger members, Alex Bell, has been tearing up the cinder track over the past few years and this year is no different! So far she has had a good haul of podium finishes in the 800 metres, including 3rd at the U23 Championships. Twice this season she has gone under 2:05 all of which back up last year’s solid season. I’m sure there are some more great performances to come in the rest of the year and you never know Alex might even get on the telebox as much as Boff!
