As well as being the first English Champs race, Flower Scar also served as the Yorkshire Fell Championship race.
Alongside a fantastic 10th place finish overall, Claire Green was 3rd Yorkshire runner and was presented with a lovely bronze medal by Dave Woodhead, a keen Yorkshireman whom you may have heard of.
Well done Claire on a great achievement and a top class start to the fell season! It’s great to see the club’s history of outstanding female runners continuing in fine form and I’m sure we’ll see further strong performances from all the P&B lasses as we progress through the year’s racing.
