End of Year Social Runs – Tuesday 20th December 2016
- The pups and juniors are having a McDonalds run on Tuesday 20th December 2016. They are meeting on Woodhall Lane, just up from Thornbury Barracks, at 6.30pm, running up to McDonalds, eating, then running back. Everyone is welcome, pups, juniors, parents, siblings but they must all wear fluorescent clothing AND an Xmas hat is essential.
- On the same Tuesday, the seniors will be replacing their last scheduled training evening with a social run (route/distance to be decided), followed with a drink at the pub. Meet in the usual place for training – current pub choice is The Fleece (there are 2 pubs of this name in/near Pudsey… in true fellrunning fashion, you will have to navigate to the correct one). 2nd Claimers and Friends of the Club all welcome.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Wednesday 18th January 2017
Current date for this is January 18th, at 7:30 in the backroom of Traveller’s Rest pub. End of year reports from Captains as well and agreeing on subs prices and that sort of thing. Please come along if you can to show your support for the Committee & Captains, have a pint, and maybe get roped into doing something next year.
P&B Presentation & Awards Event – Sunday 22nd January 2017
This is being held on Sunday the 22nd January at the function room of Fulneck Golf Club. 1pm – 5pm. Last year this was a most enjoyable and social get-together with drinks and food, hopefully we can get just as many out this time. As last year, there will be a short handicap race in the morning.
